It was 1988. And just like any other young professional in their 20s, Michael Liew and Elaine Tan dreamt of making it big. What they had to sell were water filters. But what they had to give was a passion that was inextinguishable.

A small proprietary business was set up. This small set up would soon grow to a small business outfit in the coming years. Only to graduate to a large corporate entity - listed, awarded and recognized.

Riding the waves of the 21st century

Delcol today has a retail chain of 16 outlets across Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and Melaka. This statistic has even won Delcol a place in the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest retailer of water filtration systems in the country.

Delcol’s performance and huge potential did not go unnoticed. In 2007, Rentokil Initial officially welcomed Delcol into the family as part of the expansion through acquisition program.  Delcol is now part of Ambius - the global Rentokil Initial brand for indoor ambience enhancement.
